Just a few announcements from last Sunday:

1. Our Relief Society Summer Salad and Service activity will be Thursday, July 29 at 6:30 pm outside in the Bowery. We will eat lots of yummy salads and put together kits for the Women's Shelter. It will be lots of fun, so put it on your calendar now!

2. We have been invited to attend a meeting with the AF 5th Ward featuring guest speaker Randy Hyde. Brother Hyde is a well-known child psychologist and he will be discussing mental and emotional issues with children and teen-agers. The meeting is August 3 at 7 pm in the cultural hall.

Thanks!! Hope you have a great 24th of July!!

Finally Catching Up!

Sorry Sisters - it has been such a long time since I updated this blog! I didn't even realize how long it has been! I will try to be better - much better! - about it!

A few dates to remember:
July 15 - Book Club at 7:30 pm at Donna Barnes' home
July 29 - Night Relief Society Meeting

Our Summer Relief Society Activity is going to be a lot of fun this year. We will be eating salads and putting together kits for women and children in the Women's Shelter. There was a sign-up going around in church for both the salad and the items to go in the kits. If you did not see either one look for it next week, or call DeLonne for more information.

Also, if you are working on the Spirit of Ammon award, just remember that you have until November to finish the Book of Mormon (if you are like me I have some serious catching up to do!) Also, another thing you could do is write a letter to one of our many wonderful missionaries!

Hope you all have a great week!!
