Hello Sisters!!
I wanted to give a report on the two Enrichments we recently had. I forgot to take my camera, so you'll have to use your imagination and picture a long table with lots of toothbrushes, toothpaste, kleenex, and TONS of chapstick on it! Then imagine sisters stuffing 27 stockings (and a few plastic bags!) with all of the wonderful things people brought for our troops. If you can imagine that then you have a picture of our Enrichment!! The food was great, the company was even better, and we had so many things to donate to our troops. Thanks to everyone who donated and came to help. We appreciate your service!
We also had the Enrichment meeting that the 23rd Ward invited us too. Shandra from Deals to Meals came to talk to us about food storage and fun ways to build it up. She had a handout, so if anyone is interested please let Jenni know and she will get it to you. It was a fun meeting, and we got to eat some yummy soup there as well!
We wanted to share the recipes from the soup we had at Enrichment. So far I only have one...this is Darcee Waddoups' recipe for Sausage Ravioli Soup. It was amazing!!!
Sausage Ravioli Soup
12 oz Italian sausage 1 onion chopped
14 oz jar artichoke hearts, chopped 2 cans Italian diced tomatoes
5 cups water 5 beef bullion cubes
1 tsp Italian seasoning 1 pkg fresh cheese ravioli
2 small zucchini's, julienned (I omit these if I don't have them)
parmesan cheese
Brown sausage with onions. Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients except ravioli and zucchini. Bring to a boil. Add ravioli and zucchini; cook until pasta is done. Top with shredded parmesan cheese.
Thanks Darcee for sharing with us!! Hope everyone has a fantastic week!!!

November 1 News
Hello Sisters!! It's been a long time since I've updated this! I was gone for a few Sundays and got very far behind! Anyway, let me catch you up on the announcements for this week:
1. Our Enrichment Night is tonight at the church. We will be making Holiday stockings for the troops. We know that many of you can't be there because of the big Band Bash, but if you would like to donate items to go in the stockings you can drop them off at Shauna Dudley's house or DeLonne Hucks's house.
2. We have also been invited to the 23rd Ward's Enrichment on Saturday November 14 from 11 am to 1 pm. We will have a speaker and then lunch. The speaker will be talking about fun and realistic ways to grow your food storage. It should be lots of fun!
3. We have a Stake Relief Society Board Meeting on Thursday November 12 at 7 pm. This is for anyone who has a calling in Relief Society (teacher, Enrichment committee, etc.) We will be breaking into groups for some specific training. They always have a yummy dessert, so be sure to come!!
4. This week is our Stake Temple week. They will have family names at the front counter in the office area of the temple for our stake to do. Also, the temple will be closed for cleaning from November 8-24.
5. You may have noticed in the Ward Newsletter a handout about Water Storage. This comes from our Stake Provident Living Training. We felt that the newsletter would be the best way to get the information out to everyone in our ward. This information is for you to use as you evaluate your family's needs for food storage and emergency preparation.
You sisters are great!! I feel very blessed to be able to associate with all of you! Have a fabulous week!!!!!
