Enrichment and Recipe!

Hello Sisters!!

I wanted to give a report on the two Enrichments we recently had. I forgot to take my camera, so you'll have to use your imagination and picture a long table with lots of toothbrushes, toothpaste, kleenex, and TONS of chapstick on it! Then imagine sisters stuffing 27 stockings (and a few plastic bags!) with all of the wonderful things people brought for our troops. If you can imagine that then you have a picture of our Enrichment!! The food was great, the company was even better, and we had so many things to donate to our troops. Thanks to everyone who donated and came to help. We appreciate your service!

We also had the Enrichment meeting that the 23rd Ward invited us too. Shandra from Deals to Meals came to talk to us about food storage and fun ways to build it up. She had a handout, so if anyone is interested please let Jenni know and she will get it to you. It was a fun meeting, and we got to eat some yummy soup there as well!

We wanted to share the recipes from the soup we had at Enrichment. So far I only have one...this is Darcee Waddoups' recipe for Sausage Ravioli Soup. It was amazing!!!

Sausage Ravioli Soup
12 oz Italian sausage 1 onion chopped
14 oz jar artichoke hearts, chopped 2 cans Italian diced tomatoes
5 cups water 5 beef bullion cubes
1 tsp Italian seasoning 1 pkg fresh cheese ravioli
2 small zucchini's, julienned (I omit these if I don't have them)
parmesan cheese

Brown sausage with onions. Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients except ravioli and zucchini. Bring to a boil. Add ravioli and zucchini; cook until pasta is done. Top with shredded parmesan cheese.

Thanks Darcee for sharing with us!! Hope everyone has a fantastic week!!!
